Hi!

I’m a writer and content strategist with over fourteen years of experience.

I started my career doing more traditional advertising while working in agencies. During my first week at my first job, I had to demonstrate the kind of goat noise I wanted for a radio spot over the phone to the producer (in front of the whole office). It was slightly embarrassing, but 100% worth it to get the right goat noise.

My most recent job was on the marketing team for an educational app company. I oversaw the blog, general web and product copy, video production, and SEO work. I helped build out brand guidelines, run conferences, and worked on multiple iterations of product copy and new product initiatives. 

Over the years, I’ve spent some time in North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, Michigan, Italy, and England, all without picking up any accents. I currently live in Durham, North Carolina with my husband, dog, and many houseplants.
